The upcoming Felipe Carrillo International Airport in Tulum (TQO) is scheduled to commence operations by the close of 2023. Situated a mere 25 kilometers southwest of Tulum's central hub, this new airport promises close proximity to the bustling beach destination.

Aeroméxico, one of the most anticipated airlines, has revealed plans to initiate direct flights to and from Tulum. Starting from the inaugural day on December 1st, Aeroméxico will operate flights connecting Tulum to Toronto, Canada, as well as San Francisco and Chicago in the United States.
