For over two decades, the Shirley Heights Lookout has been the hallmark/signature of activities in Antigua and Barbuda.  The journey culminates in an experience that literally takes your breath away. 

Join the pulsating Sunday BBQ and Lime where the atmosphere is infused with energetic music, fabulous food and pleasurable interactions with friends, family and even total strangers.  Dance to the rhythms of the house steel band or enjoy the entertainment provided by one of the ‘guest’ bands.  

Now in its 31st year, they have hosted more than 1,560 of them. Ask any of the bartenders, whether the party happens every Sunday, and the reply will be, " Yes...like church!"

From 4.00pm the sweet pulsating rhythms of the steel band accompany mouth-watering smells of the barbecue. Spectacular sunsets are standard party fare and the much talked about green flash really can be seen! At 7.00pm the entertainment changes and some of the island's finest party bands are featured until 10.00pm. We are happy to share what we consider a "proud Antiguan institution" with you. 

Unfortunately…Sundays are only once per week.

This outing offers Caribbean style barbecue, drinks, craft, wonderful steel band music, and cool reggae vibes.  Ideal for those who prefer a quieter party, and relish the opportunity to sample Antiguan culture and to take back a souvenir, that is made with pride in Antigua.

A venue, par excellence, for international concerts, and the likes of Third World and Maxi Priest have performed in our idyllic natural outdoor amphitheater ´greens', which offer unimpeded views of the stage.  Celebrating that special event? Host your private functions at Shirley Heights Lookout while you and your guests enjoy the panoramic view of Falmouth and English Harbours and the environs. This is the view that turns into a spectacular sunset and changes into a fairyland of lights at dinner time. If your wish is to have us cater off-site, we can do that too.
