How to get to Megeve

Closest international airports and best access to the Ski resort

The French Alpine village of Megeve (altitude 1100m) is located on the road from Albertville to Chamonix.  It is a relatively easy French ski resort to access either by plane via Geneva, by train to the station 12km away and by road (highway). Its central location close to Italy and Switzerland make international day trip possible!

By Plane

If flying from North or South America, we recommend flying directly to Geneva. Chamonix is approximately a 1h15 drive from Geneva.  Otherwise consider flying to Paris CDG  with flight connections to either Lyon or Geneva.

Low budget carriers fly into Chambery or Grenoble.

By Train

Head to St Gervais les Bains Station, 20 mins to Megeve.
The TGV from Paris is approximately 4 hours.

The overnight sleeper train from Paris Gare d'Austerlitz departs at 11PM and arrives at 8:30AM.

Rail from London via Paris with Eurostar is approximately 8 hours

By Road

Transfers

Transfers can be arranged by bus, taxi or helicopter.
