The tiny island of St Barts boasts some of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean. Pristine beach conditions with turquoise waters tantalizes guests. Here are the recommendations for the best beaches on St Barts.
Gouverneur Beach
Gouverneur is one of our personal favorites. Located in the south eastern quadrant of the island, the beach tends to have favorable conditions year round. A quiet and relaxing beach with refreshing waters and beautiful landscapes
Salines Beach
An isolated beach along the easter side of the island, the beach is located in a natural reserve with minimal development nearby. The beach is long and pristine. To access the beach, there are some dunes to navigate but visitors are rewarded with exceptional beauty and traditionally ideal conditions. Clothing optional beach goers can frequent this beach but there should be plenty of space to spread out.
Saint Jean Beach
Saint Jean is the island's most famous beach and the center of the social scene with Nikki Beach bar, La Plage, and Eden Rock anchoring the island with bars and restaurants. Good conditions for children. Watersports such as wind surfing and wave runners can be found on this beach.
Flamands Beach
Anchored by Cheval Blanc and Taiwana on the eastern aspect. The beach is a fabulous walking beach with grand vistas. Rolling waves can be present.
Colombier Beach
To access Colombier there are two options. Option 1 is a 20 minute hike. Option 2 is a boat charter. Guests are rewarded for their efforts with pristine beach conditions and stunningly blue waters. The cove usually has ideal conditions.
