What are the benefits of booking a villa or vacation rental with Isle Blue?  A vast amount of benefits come to mind by primarily you will notice the immediate benefit from our highly responsive team that provides objective and honest opinions and guidance. A central benefit of Isle Blue is that we act only on behalf of our guests and not the villa owners. Our villa specialists have access to meta data that includes personal villa inspections, past guest stays, location attractions, maintenance conditions, property manager support, villa reviews and additional criteria to assist in villa selection.  Additionally, Isle Blue does not charge booking fees such as popular do it your self sites or unnecessary membership fees that may only have 1/100 of our villa inventory. In one plain summary statement, Isle Blue will find you the perfect villa at the best price while saving you time, money and a migraine. Best of all, your overall risk is minimized by protection from fraud and misrepresentation.

What happens after I reserve a villa?  After our villa specialist team finds you the perfect vacation home, our renowned concierge team will resume taking great care of you. Once a villa is confirmed by deposit, you will be kindly asked to complete a guest registration form that will include your arrival information and ask if you are interested in additional services such as rental car reservations, spa services at your villa, chef services or a boat charter to name a few options.  Your personal concierge will assist with your arrival logistics as well as vacation planning needs.  Isle Blue will then mail you a villa folder that will include a villa overview as well as tips and recommendations for your destination.  Isle Blue will remain in constant contact with you and available at your beckon call.

What is included in the villa?

  • Initial Supply of Toiletries are typically included. Replenishing toiletries may be the responsibility of the guest depending on the vacation home.

What is the best way to get from the airport to my villa? Your arrival logistics will be handled via your personal concierge. Some villas may include an airport pickup or an escort but most villas do not. Isle Blue will be happy to set up villa transfers or escorts to the villas.  At select destinations, Isle Blue can arrange for a rental car to be delivered directly to your villa.  Contact your concierge for further details.

Can I have extra guests or a party? Isle Blue maintains a strict policy in accordance with the homeowner's wishes that villas cannot have additional guests beyond the registered guests.  Violations may incur additional fees by the property manager.

I’d like to have the pantry pre-stocked can this be arranged? Definitely, in fact we highly recommend pre-stocking to avoid the pressure of navigating a nearby grocery store and shopping for items after a typically long journey.  Our concierge would be happy to organize your villa provisioning.

Should I tip at a restaurant? Tipping guidelines are destination specific. We recommend further researching local customs or contacting our support team.  Usually European or European associated destinations (ie French St Martin) include service and a customary tip is a few dollars while other destinations have varying expectations.

What are typical gratuities /tips for housekeeping? Tipping is discretionary but we typically encourage rewarding good service. For housekeepers, our recommendation for gratuities is roughly between US $ 7-10 per day per bedroom. A separate gratuity for a helpful caretaker should be considered as well (not applicable to all villas).  

Do I need a visa to visit?  Before booking a vacation home, we strongly urge our guests to check needs for a visa since each destination may have varying visa policies.  Visa requirements can easily be found on popular visa search sites.  Please take a few minutes to ensure that traveling to your destination will be unimpeded by visa requirements.

Should I get travel insurance? YES!  Vacations are exceptionally important milestones that create lifelong memories and enhanced relationships. Protect your vacation plans as you would your home, car or jewelry.  Unexpected events happen in life so it's best to prepare for them.
