Currency

Anguilla's local currency is the Eastern Caribbean dollar, which is fixed to the U.S. dollar at $2.7(EC) to $1(USD). The U.S. dollar is accepted pretty much everywhere on the island.

While visiting Anguilla, you can receive change in either U.S. dollars or Eastern Caribbean dollars, or even both. Airports and hotels have currency exchanges, but go to a bank to get the best rates.
