Festive Fun in the Sun - Barbados Style

December has long been regarded as a popular time to visit Barbados, watching the Island come alive with decadent decoration, music and infectious atmosphere.

Carols by Candlelight | 10th December 2023

Kicking off the festive season, attend an evening of Christmas cheer for all the family to enjoy. This live open-air concert usually combines presentations by young performers, seasoned artistes, and performing icons. The highlights of the show include: Collection of wrapped Christmas gifts at the gate for distribution to less fortunate Children. Carols sing along by candlelight.

Carols by Candlelight takes place on the lawns at the Prime Minister's official residence, Ilaro Court at 5 p.m. Entrance fee applicable. Come with a blanket to spread out and sit on, food and drink are on sale. It always seems to rain at some point, so some sort of rain gear is useful. Proceeds benefit several charities.

Queen's Park | Christmas Day - 25 December 2023

Immerse yourself in a true Barbadian tradition, a Christmas celebration in Queen's Park dressed in splendour for a day to remember. A special performance from the Royal Barbados Police Force Band will also feature on the day.
