When renting one of the beautiful villas at Soneva Fushi, guests already have the Buffet Breakfast included in the rental rate. Additional meal plans are available at a supplement.

Meal Plan Supplements

  • Breakfast: Included in the published rates.

  • Half board (food only - Breakfast & Dinner):
    ~ US$230.00 per adult (15+yo) per day
    ~ US$115.00 per child (7 > 14 yo) per day
    ~ Complimentary children 6 and under

  • Full board (food only - Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner):
    ~ US$350.00 per adult (15+yo) per day
    ~ US$175.00 per child (7 > 14 yo) per day
    ~ Complimentary children 6 and under

Remarks:

~ Breakfast: All meal plans include breakfast at Mihiree Mithaa.

~ Lunch (Full Board): Mihiree Mithaa and Out of the Blue.

~ Dinner (Half Board/ Full Board): Mihiree Mithaa, Down to Earth, Fresh in the Garden, Out of the Blue, and Shades of Green.

~ Should a guest wish to dine at any other outlet, they will receive the following credit towards their meal: USD 120 per adult, USD 60 per child for lunch; and USD 230 per adult, USD 115 per child for dinner.

~ Any consumption exceeding the credit limit will be charged as a supplement (published rates are applicable). Resort credit is valid per day only. Unused credit cannot be carried forward or accumulated.

Full Board Plus includes house brand alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages at mealtime only in restaurants or at a group event in a pre-designated venue. Daily Full Board (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) at any resort restaurant and In-Villa Dining. In-villa mini bar will be replenished once per day with compliments and alcohol will be replenished once per week with compliments.

Dining Options at Soneva Fushi

Mihiree Mithaa (Asia / Mediterranean / International cuisine)

Take your pick from a bountiful buffet, offering freshly cut fruits, baked goodies, a salad room, wood-fired pizzas, and Soneva’s ubiquitous ice cream and chocolate rooms.

Out of the Blue (Asian / International cuisine)

Open for Lunch from 12:30 to 4pm, and Dinner from 6:30pm onward

‘Out of the Blue’ rises out of the majestic Indian Ocean: a two-storey overwater structure that houses five unique dining outlets. Feast on the creations of top chefs from around the world in intimate settings. From delicious grilled meats and seafood, teppanyaki, sushi and secret menus conjured by Michelin-starred chefs – guests will be spoilt for choice in the latest edition to Soneva Fushi’s culinary offerings. As the name suggests, Out of the Blue is indeed something unexpected…

Down to Earth by Ravi (International / South Asian cuisine)

The practice of sharing food is a primal bonding ritual. We sought to recreate this intimacy with dishes made for sharing.

Dine high above our gardens, where the aromas of the herbs waft up from below. The central open kitchen gives you front-row seats to the action. Choose to sit under cover or beneath the starry night sky. Currently, Chef Mads Refslund is running a 12-month pop-up that will offer guests at Soneva Fushi a rare opportunity to dine with one of Denmark’s most exciting culinary talents and his team.

This plant-based dining experience is set within Soneva Fushi’s organic island gardens, taking diners on an immersive culinary journey that ignites all the senses.

The five new menus by Danish chef, Carsten Kyster, are based on the vibrant colours of freshly picked produce: Purple, Yellow, Orange, Red and Green. They fuse the flavours and fragrant spices of Maldivian and South-east Asian cuisine with Chef Kyster’s Nordic heritage, prepared using traditional techniques such as smoking, salting, fermenting and pickling to let the ingredients shine. Each colourful menu features six courses – Cleansing, Crispy, Raw, Grains, Fire, Sweets – with simple yet innovative dishes that showcase the finest seasonal vegetables, salads, fruit and herbs cultivated at Soneva Fushi.

Flying Sauces (International cuisine)

Daylight hours, for breakfast, high tea and dinner

With a delectable gourmet menu, breathtaking views over the leafy forest and the adrenaline rush of ziplining through the treetops – the Flying Sauces zipline is a dining experience like no other! Starting from The Den, glide along the 200-metre zipline route to our elevated dining platform – at 12 metres above the ground, it has exceptional views across the sparkling ocean. Once there, Chef Rasal will prepare an exquisite seasonal menu in our open treetop kitchen, paired with a selection of the finest wines from our extensive cellars.

  • Marinated prawns with avocado purée, chorizo oil and rocket leaves

  • Black cod with Jerusalem artichoke purée, onion, mushrooms and teriyaki truffle sauce

The zipline takes a scenic route through the forest at a height of 5 to 10 metres – with towering platforms and rope bridges along the way, it ends at an elevated dining tower, raised 12 metres above the ground with exceptional views over the ocean. Operating during daylight hours only, the zipline takes approximately 1 hour 15 minutes; the Flying Sauces dining experiences take an additional 1 hour for breakfast and high tea, and 2 to 3 hours for dinner. Each Flying Sauces experience is suitable for a maximum 10 to 12 guests aged 8 and above, divided into 2 groups of 6 guests.

Please note: All guests are required to wear a safety harness, which will be fitted and checked by our trained Hosts.

Carne Diem Grill by Dharshan (International cuisine)

This innovative concept at Down to Earth is built around a unique charcoal grill created by Dharshan himself. It operates at a temperature of 750 ̊C to lock in the flavour of succulent meats, freshly-caught seafood and tender vegetables.

Cinema Paradiso (International cuisine)

A serene oasis of calm, ideal for relaxing, the bar has one of the best selections of cocktails, spirits and liqueurs in the Maldives. The dinner menu is inspired by Australia’s eclectic cuisine with a deliciously healthy twist.

Once Upon a Table (International cuisine)

A culinary theatre showcasing some of the biggest names in fine dining. There is no menu, allowing the creativity and skills of the chef to take centre stage.

Pasta Counter (International cuisine)

Dine on a delectable pasta menu at this circular live cooking station
at Down to Earth. Surrounded by eight comfortable day beds, watch as the chef prepares a tasty selection of fresh, handmade pasta each day.

So Hands on by Akira (Japanese cuisine)

So Hands on will be taking its annual summer break from May 24, 2022. Sushi Master Chef Akira will be returning in July full of inspiration from his culinary sabbatical in Japan.

So Bespoke (Japanese cuisine)

So Bespoke will be closed from May 24, 2022 for Chef Hiroshi’s annual culinary sabbatical to Japan. We look forward to welcoming him back in July.
