The Eastern Caribbean Dollar (XCD) is the local currency. The EC dollar is fixed to the US dollar at the rate of US$1.00 = EC$2.70.
US $ bills are accepted by most stores and businesses, and change is given in E.C. currency. US coins are not accepted.
Pound Sterling, Euro and Canadian notes can be converted in one of the local banks.
